SoftScreen is a project from our home to yours, designed to help reactive pets (like ours) avoid triggers by using AI to gently blur images on screen. We’re working on detecting selected audio, next. More to come!

Our Mission
This is our dog, Buffy! She reacts to animals on TV (even cartoons, bless her heart) and we realized how often pets are exposed to overstimulation they can’t understand or escape.
This led to the idea for SoftScreen: a personalized smart tool to reduce visual and audio triggers, bringing more calm into the home.
Our mission is to use thoughtful technology to support the wellbeing of pets and their people. We’re just getting started, and we’re building this with real love.
We aim to make screen time calmer, quieter, and more intentional with SoftScreen.
